Selwyn Kendrick
Managing Director Marches 4x4 and Clerk of Course for the BCCC.
Selwyn has vast experience in the field of commercial transport and a deep-seated passion for four-wheel drive vehicles. Originally trained at the Rolls Royce School of Chauffeurs, he has an impressive portfolio of training and instructing on just about every conceivable type of vehicle.
Selwyn's knowledge and background led to him becoming a respected authority on the subject of four-wheel drives and, in recognition of the urgent need for formal off-road training for these highly specialised vehicles, he was instrumental in gaining acceptance for the nationally-recognised need for driver certification and continued assessment.
These days Selwyn effectively 'trains the trainers'. His services are frequently called upon by the country's leading National Training Organisation’s (NTOs), and many of his standards now form the basis of NTO training manuals.
He is much in demand as a demonstration driver for Ford, Vauxhall, Jeep, and County York vehicle manufacturers.
Selwyn is a LANTRA Senior instructor and Mentor, and holds every possible 'D' rating, NVQ P Section 32, 33 and 34 Senior Instructors Ratings and City & Guilds Certification.

His articles and journalistic writings are in constant demand from a wide variety of off-road motoring magazines and periodicals, and his wide experience in all matters pertaining to off road involvement have led on a number of occasions to his expert opinion being sought in cases of arbitration and tribunal.
